Our Story

Ekiti Kete Canada Inc. is a registered charitable organization dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Ekiti people while advancing education, community development, humanitarian service, and social well-being in Canada and beyond.

Founded in 1998 and registered as a Canadian charity since 2010, Ekiti Kete Canada brings together individuals and families of Ekiti heritage across Canada to promote unity, cultural pride, community engagement, and meaningful social impact.

Our organization serves as a bridge between generations, connecting youth, adults, and seniors through programs that strengthen cultural identity, leadership, education, volunteerism, and community service. We are committed to fostering a strong and inclusive community where members can celebrate their heritage while contributing positively to Canadian society.

Beyond cultural preservation, we support initiatives that improve educational opportunities, enhance community well-being, empower women and youth, assist newcomers, and provide humanitarian support to vulnerable populations. Through partnerships, volunteer efforts, scholarships, educational assistance, and healthcare initiatives, we strive to create lasting impact both locally and internationally.
